Event Schedule

  • Can I add my own events?
Only guild members of the rank specified by a site administrator can add or modify events.
  • How do I register to attend an event on the schedule?
The first thing you'll need to do is register on the guild website and make sure you're logged in and selected on the character you wish to attend the event with. Once you've done this, visit the event on the schedule and click the "Attend this event" link.

Forums

  • Why can't I see some of the forums?
Some forums may be restricted to certain guild ranks! Please make sure you've verified your membership by entering the guild password (check for a red Notice link up at the top). Once this is done you should be able to access all areas appropriate for the selected character's rank.

Gallery

  • How do I upload a picture to the image gallery?
Only verified guild members and site administrators can upload to the gallery. If you're a guild member and you want to create your own album, first make sure you're logged in and selected on your verified guild member character. Next, visit the Member Albums album in the gallery. Here, on the right side, you'll see a link to create your own personal album which you can upload images into!

General Use

  • How do I get access to my guild's private sections?
In order to get access to private forums and any other section of your guild site which is restricted to members/officers only, you need to authenticate yourself.

Each guild website has a password which all members need to know (usually posted in the Guild Information tab in-game). Visit character management on your guild site once you're logged in as a character and then click the guild tab. Once you enter the password here you'll be granted member access appropriate to your guild rank immediately.

Guild Structure

  • If I have a problem with an officer who should I contact?
If you have a problem with an Officer and it is not Mylk or Scarab please contact Mylk or Scarab.

If you have a problem with Mylk contact Scarab and vice versa.

If you have a problem with both Mylk and Scarab, well... may God have mercy on your soul.
  • Who is the Guild Leader of Uncommon Valor?
Mylk, aka Day is the Guild Leader of Uncommon Valor.  She's absolutely crazy, RUN!!!!!

Okay, maybe not absolutely crazy, but certaintly has a mind that she enjoys speaking, frequently.  She fills the role of raid leader during the 25 man runs, and is also in charge of the DKP system.

For more information regarding Mylk... ask her yourself!  She'll gladly answer any question about the guild you might have, but she does not suffer fools easily.  YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Professions

  • How do I add my special recipes to my character profile?
This is something everybody should do! By adding your special recipes, visitors of your guild site, or thousands of others, can search for a recipe and find your name. This can translate into more gold!

To add a recipe to your profile, visit character management and view the Recipes tab.
  • Why are my profession skill levels outdated?
Viewing your character profile page, by clicking your character name anywhere it might be displayed, will update your skill levels. A full roster update performed by a site administrator will also update professions!
  • Why can I not add some recipes to my profile?
Some recipes, which are trained from your profession trainer, cannot be added to your profile. This is done because the recipe is available to all characters using that profession. In this case, the list of guildmates for the profession in question should be sufficient.

Raid History

  • How do I modify or delete a raid history entry?
The raid history module is not yet compelte. These functions are not yet available; however, they will be added to the system very soon.

Raids

  • What time are Uncommon Valor's Raids?
    As of 3.1:

    25-Man:
Tuesday - 6:00pm Server Time (PST) - Ulduar
Wednesday - 6:00pm Server Time (PST) - Ulduar
Thursday - 6:00pm Server Time (PST) - Ulduar

    10-Man:
Friday - 6:00pm Server Time (PST) - Ulduar
Monday - 6:00pm Server Time (PST) - Ulduar

It's an Ulduar extravaganda!  We're trying to push Ulduar progression, so we don't currently run... anything else!  25 mans has become our focus, and it is absolutely imperative that you show up for those nights, as they are our core raiding nights.  For 10-man raiding nights, it is most important to be there if you need gear, or need to learn fights that are being done in 25-man.  If not, they are optional, depending on how you've decided to commit yourself (if you say you'll be there, SHOW THE HELL UP, AUGH!).

Roster

  • I'm shown as the wrong level on the roster. Why?
The roster module updates every 24 hours from the Blizzard armory. Sometimes guild roster details update slower than character profiles. Try viewing your character profile (click your name anywhere you see it displayed) to force a more recent update!
  • My spec shows as unknown and/or my professions are incorrect!
The daily automatic updates to the roster only fetch basic details about your guild members, such as names and ranks. In order for talents, professions, gear and more to update, a site administrator must perform a full forced update. Sometimes viewing the character's profile page can update these details as well.
  • What do the expressions on the roster history mean?
When you view the roster history on your guild roster page, you'll see one of four words associated with a character and date.

Added means that the person was added to the roster as a new listing. Removed means the exact opposite; they were deleted from the roster and have lost all restricted site access. If the expression is joined, that character had verified themselves as a member of the guild in order to see restricted areas. Quit indicates that they've revoked their membership on the website, removing their special access levels.

WowJutsu

  • How often is the WowJutsu data updated?
The WowJutsu data displayed on the guild website is updated twice daily (every 12 hours).
